Who we are

What we collect

Depending on your enquiry, we may collect:

• Identity and contact details (name, organisation, email address, telephone number)
• Role and operational context (for example operator type or training requirements)
• Message content and service preferences you submit via enquiry forms
• Technical data such as IP address and browser type when you visit this website (where collected by hosting analytics or security tools)

Why we collect personal information

We process personal information to:

• Respond to quotations, demonstrations, training and service enquiries
• Provide and administer requested services
• Communicate about your request and related follow-up
• Meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations where applicable
• Maintain the security and integrity of our systems

We rely on legitimate interests, contractual necessity and/or consent, as appropriate under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Where information is sent

Enquiry forms on this site may redirect you to SEAMS Online (seamsonline.co.za) or related service pages operated in connection with HAA. Information you submit through those forms is received by HAA for the purpose of handling your enquiry. If you sign in to SEAMS as a platform user, additional platform terms and notices may apply.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, including reasonable follow-up, record-keeping and legal requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified where practicable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (for example hosting, email or platform infrastructure), with professional advisers where required, or with regulators and authorities when we are legally obliged to do so. Recipients are expected to protect the information appropriately.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please contact us immediately if you believe your information has been compromised.

Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may request to:

• Access personal information we hold about you
• Correct or update inaccurate information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request deletion where we are not required to retain the information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
